Arsenal may find it difficult to sign Tariq Lamptey

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal may struggle to buy Tottenham Hotspur linked defender Tariq Lamptey from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Arsenal is already in talks with Brighton about Ben White, and they are also interested in Lamptey.

However, if the Gunners complete a deal for White, which appears to be on the cards, their budget for a right-back may be restricted.

As a result, Arsenal may be unable to finance the quick right-back, which may play directly into Tottenham's hands.

Spurs are reportedly interested in the 20-year-old as they want to improve their alternatives on the right side of their defense.

Spurs have Serge Aurier and Matt Doherty in their ranks, but neither was especially impressive last season.

Aurier may possibly leave this summer, making way for Lamptey to take his place.

However, there may be some concerns that Tottenham, like its North London rivals, would struggle to finance the full-back, who has been rated as "amazing" by Graham Potter.
