When Arsenal soldSerge Gnabry to Werder Bremen for £5m in the summer, many Gunners supporters were left questioning Arsene Wenger's decision to get rid of the talent.
Their fears were confirmed on Friday night as the 21-year-old capped off his Germany national team debut with a hat-trick against European minnows San Marino.

The young winger, who was loaned out to West Brom last season after appearing just 10 times for the Gunners, has alsostarted life in the Bundesliga in fine form, scoring three goals in his first six appearances, much to the frustration of grieving Arsenal fans.
Werder Bremen's official twitter page added insult to injury after Gnabry's wonder-debut, tagging Arsenal in their tweet: "1. debut 2. Hat-trick 3. 8-0 win 4. @Arsenal pic.twitter.com/CicrQ2hT2k"
It was up to Arsenal to respond, and they did in the perfect way by reminding the German side of another certain hat-trick, which saw Ray Parlour score three against Bremen in a 2000 UEFA Cup quarter-final.

Arsenal are flying high in the Premier League this season, lying in fourth just two points adrift of league-leaders Liverpool after 11 games.
Bremen meanwhile, are a stark contrast as they lie in the Bundesliga relegation zone having won just twice in their opening 10 games.
