Arsenal Olivier Giroud has rejected talk of him still having injury problems and has insisted he is feeling good and ready to play after a slow start to the new season.

The Frenchman has endured a staggered start to the 2016/17 campaign after first missing out on the club's pre-season camp following his endeavours with his country in the Euros in the summer, and then picking up a toe injury that delayed his return to the starting XI.

As a result, the 30-year-old has made just five substitute appearances so far this term, however he has managed to rack up two goals in the process, and according to theDaily Express, Giroud insists that he is now ready to kick on, despite France coach Didier Deschamps suggesting he still isn't 100%.

"I have not been back to the Stade de France since the [Euro 2016] final, Giroud said after completing a full 90 minutes for the first time this seasonin his country's 2-1 World Cup qualifying victory over Sweden.
