Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud made history with his hat-trick for France last night.

Giroud scored France's first hat-trick since the year 2000 as Les Bleus romped to a 5-0 win over Paraguay in Rennes.

Arsenal striker Giroud bagged twice before the break and added another in the second period, as Didier Deschamps' side showed their class at Roazhon Park.

Wantaway Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko and Antoine Griezmann - fresh from committing his future to Atletico Madrid - also scored.

Playing at the tip of a four-man attack also containing Borussia Dortmund starlet Ousmane Dembele, Dimitri Payet and the roaming Griezmann, Giroud ran riot.
