Arsenal's Animal-Loving Alexis Sanchez Once Rescued a Rabbit During His Time at Barcelona

Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez might just be the biggest animal nut goingin the Premier League.

Does Lee Cattermole pose with his dogs on Instagram? No, I don't think so.Does Jordi Amathave his pets' names stitched into his football boots? Doubt it.Does Joel Wardsave helpless animals in the mountains and adopt them as pets? Probably not, but Sanchez certainly does all of these things.

The Gunners' Chilean hitman melted hearts, andcemented his place as your mum's favourite player, by confirming a story onArsenal's websiteabout the time he rescued a rabbit out in the Spanish wilderness.

I was driving up in the mountains not far from Barcelona with my mother and friends when a white rabbit got in our way and stopped in front of us," Sanchez said.
