AS ROMA, Florenzi: "I turned down some offers before extending"

Asked by AS Roma club media about his Giallorossi present and future, Italian international right-back/midfielder Alessandro Florenzi (27) stated: "So far, outcomes haven't met our expectations. But we understood what to work on, and towards which direction we must steer our resources. Our group is our strength, and we always stick together, whether we win or we lose. My deal extension for AS Roma has been an important career step, both the club and I wanted it. Everybody knows I turned down some proposals; anyway, I was happy I withdrew them, because it means I've been good at doing what I do".
