Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan bagged a brace for Kayserispor in their 2-1 win over Kasimpasa in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.
Gyan climbed off the bench to score twice as Kayserispor beat Kasimpasa in their match 32 fixture at the Kadir Has Stadium.
Kayserispor, who had failed to win their last four matches suffered an early blow after Tunisian defender Syam Ben Yousseff put Kasimpasa ahead in the 26th minute with a simple finish from close range.
Coach Hikmet Karaman called upon Asamoah Gyan from the bench to replace Atila Turan in the 55th minute of the game.
After piling the pressure on the visitors from thereon, Gyan popped up at the far end of the post in the 74th minute to level the score line with a diving header.
Gyan's compatriot and teammate Bernard Mensah was also introduced in the 78th minute when they went in search of the winner.
Mensah combined superbly with the former Sunderland striker to give the hosts all three points.
Gyan has made 16 appearances and scored five for Kayserispor so far this season.
