Asamoah Gyan on Turkish side Goztepe SK’s radar

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has emerged the prime target of Turkish side Goztepe SK as they seek to bolster their attack for next season, according to reports in Turkey.

The Shaghai SIPG striker’s contract will end this summer and he is not keen on renewing the deal.

Gyan has been on loan at UAE side Al Ahli where he scored 8 times from 28 appearances helping them to a third place finish.

A lot of clubs in Turkey are pursuing the signature of the former Sunderland man with Bursaspor confirming they had a deal rejected by Gyan’s representatives.

Goztepe SK finished fifth in Turkish Super Lig last season and were eliminated in the group stages of the Turkish Cup. They are also five times champions of the Super Lig.
