Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan could make his debut for Legon Cities when they face Medeama today at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Gyan joined the Royals on transfer deadline day but is yet to make an appearance due to fitness concerns.
The 35-year-old recently shared that he is not fit to play and asked for time to get himself ready for the Ghana football season.
According to reports, he has gained enough fitness to feature for his new club and aims to help them to their first win of the season.
The Accra based club have had a shaky start to the 2020/21 season. They drew 1-1 with Berekum Chelsea in their opening game and lost 3-0 to Great Olympics on matchday 2.
In spite of that they have sacked their coach Goran Barjaktarevic and have replaced him with Bashir Hayford.
Legon Cities will take on Medeama today in matchday three of the Ghana Premier League.
