Kotoko have completed the signing of striker, Frederick Boateng, on a two-year deal.

Frederick Boateng has joined the Porcupines on a free transfer after undergoing successful trial at the club. The striker comes in with a lot of experience with stints at Ebusua Dwarfs, Inter Allies and Muscat Club of Oman.

It is expected that his arrival would boost competition at the striking department, where many people believe is the club's major area of concern, and also improve on the goal haul next season.

Frederick Boateng told www.asantekotokosc.com that it’s an honour signing for Kotoko as he court the the patience and support of everyone associated with the club.

"There are lots of good attackers in Ghana but you will not see the quality they are made of until you are patient with them and also offer them support. Striker's need the patience and the support of the management and supporters of the club he represents. There are already some good strikers here and I am here to partner them and also play my part to move the club forward".

"It’s an honour to be here at Kotoko. Kotoko is in my blood. My family members are all Kotoko supporters. I am here to contribute my quota to lift the image of Asanteman and the club"
