Asante Kotoko appoint Ashford Tetteh-Oku as consultant to recover Kwame Bonsu's transfer fee

Asante Kotoko have appointed Ashford Tetteh-Oku as consultant to help the club recover the transfer fee involved in the sale of Kwame Bonsu to Esperance, according Oyerepa FM.

Several attempts by the Porcupine Warriors to secure the amount from Esperance have since proved futile, prompting the invitation of Offside Consult, a company owned by former long-term administrative manager to lead a legal assault on the Tunisian club.

Tetteh-Oku is expected to use his experience and wide range of contacts cultivated over the years to push Kotoko case for fairness and equity to prevail.

According to Oyerepa FM, Esperance have twice failed to respond to FIFA's directives to pay Asante Kotoko.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association has suspended all its competitions with immediate effect until further notice following the directives given by the President of the Republic.

The Football Association says it will continue to engage the relevant institutions on this matter and update its members and all stakeholders of any changes.
