The playing body of Asante Kotoko will receive a special package from the club’s board of directors for winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title.
The Porcupine Warriors were crowned champions of the 2021/22 season on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The club received their 24th league title after defeating Elmina Sharks 3-0 with goals from Imoro Ibrahim and a brace by George Mfegue.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Akoma FM, Dr Kwame Kyei, who is the chairman of the board confirmed there will be a package for the playing body for winning the league.
“As you already know, when one works hard, he or she deserves appreciation. The Board will meet to reward them for winning the league and soon the public will to get to know the package” he said.
Kotoko will represent Ghana in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League competition.
