Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu reveals why Kwame Baah has displaced Felix Annan

Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has disclosed why Kwame Baah has displaced first choice goalkeeper Felix Annan in their last four games in the on-going Ghana premier league.

Annan has been on the substitute bench for the past few games following the impressive performance of Kwame Baah in the league after wedding to his long-term girlfriend on January 18, 2020.

Speaking at his post-match press conference against WAFA, Konadu opened up on the reason why he dropped Annan.

"Baah [Kwame] is doing very well and we are happy with him, even though Felix [Annan] is our first choice but Baah is doing well," he said.

The 25-year-old has been of the standout players for the Porcupine Warriors for the past three seasons, earning him a call-up to the senior national team, the Black Stars.

According to reports, coach Maxwell Konadu is set to hand Annan a recall ahead of their upcoming league game against Dreams in Dawu.

Asante Kotoko will make a trip to Dawu to play Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams on match day nine of the on-going Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko are currently 4th on the league standings with 14 points, three points adrift first-placed Berekum Chelsea.
