The Porcupine Warriors booked a place in the Round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup after eliminating lower-tier club, Benab FC.

It was a highly competitive game as Benab FC gave Kotoko a run for their money on Saturday.

Maxwell Agyemang scored a late goal to help the Ghanaian giants defeat Benab FC 2-1 in the Round of 32 of the Cup game.

After the game, the Burkinabe trainer attributed his sides unimpressive performance in recent times to injuries.

“We have about six players who are not effective in their main positions and for that matter, have to amend positions to raise a team for a game. A lot of injuries have affected the performance of the team” he said.

The Ghanaian giants will wait for their opponent in the Round of 16.
