Asante Kotoko considering Anane Boateng stadium - Reports

The Board of Asante Kotoko is considering to purchase the Anane Boateng Stadium at Abrankese from Kessben Group of Companies, according to information gathered by FOX FM.

The Porcupine Warriors will then switch from their favoured home venue, the Baba Yara Sports stadium to the new stadium after the deal is finalised.

The Board of the club has been tasked by Manhyia to construct their own stadium, academy, and other sporting facilities in the shortest possible time.

The new Board of Director is led by Dr Kwame Kyei and he will be assisted by Jude Arthur, who served as a board member in 2013. Tema-based businessman and two-time board member Alhaji Lamine have also been brought back to be part of the new team.

Former sports journalist Evelyn Nsiah Asare, who is now Director of Sports at the Sunyani Technical University is also part of the board.

Other members include Joseph Yaw Adu, Laryea Kwamina Mensah, Kwadwo Boateng Genfi.
