In the matchday 24 games, the Porcupine Warriors hosted the Phobians at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

After 90 minutes of action, Kotoko extended their lead on the league log with a 1-0 win over the reigning Ghana Premier League.

Cameroonian forward, Franck Etouga Mbella scored the only goal of the game from a spot-kick in the 17th minute.

Despite the win, Opoku Nti says the Reds did not deal with their rivals well.

According to him, Kotoko could have scored two or more goals.

"I feel Asante Kotoko just didn't deal well with Hearts of Oak," he told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.

"We [Asante Kotoko] should have beaten them [Hearts of Oak] by two or three goals.

"Kotoko played better than Hearts of Oak who struggled to create chances in the game," he added.

Prosper Narteh Ogum and his charges will be hosted by RTU in the matchday 25 games at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday.
