Asante Kotoko earns $110,000 from ticket sales

Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeated Kano Pillars from Nigeria in their 2nd leg game in the  CAF Champions leg by 2-0 on Sunday.

Kotoko lost the first leg 3-2 in Nigeria but they managed to sail through after a second-leg win at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The 40,528 capacity stadium was almost filled, with the porcupine Warriors reportedly accumulating $110,000 as gross income from tickets sales vs Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions league yesterday.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko advanced to the next stage of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, earning a chance to face Tunisia's Etoile Sahel in the next phase.
