Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have intensified their chase to sign forward Seth Osei from Ashanti Gold SC after making a bumper second offer.
Nicknamed the Porcupine Warriors, the club finished the 2020/2021 football season without a trophy.
The team was in a tight race with Hearts of Oak but lost out to their bitterest rivals in the end before they were eliminated from the MTN FA Cup by Berekum Chelsea in the quarter-finals.
Keen on strengthening their squad for the next football season, Asante Kotoko has set sight on bringing in reinforcement.
With the team’s eyes set on signing talented Ashanti Gold SC attacker Seth Osei, they have presented a fresh bid to try and tempt the Miners to let go of the highly-rated player.
According to sources, an offer of GHS30,000 has been made after a previous offer was turned down.
Seth Osei last season netted five goals and five assists after making 16 appearances in the Ghana Premier League.
