Legon Cities midfielder Samuel Tenedu has emerged as a transfer target for Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window.

The 21-year-old was one of Legon Cities standout players in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign. He made 30 appearances in the top-flight as the Royals escaped relegation at the end of the season.

His impressive performances have attracted interest from several clubs in the league, including giants Asante Kotoko.

However, the Ghanaian giants has set their sights on acquiring the services of the highly-rated midfielder for the upcoming season.

Kotoko parted ways with over 20 players including midfield gem, Richmond Lamptey, who left the club to join APR FC in Rwanda following contract expiration.

The club are now desperate to fill the void and has now targeted the Legon Cities midfielder.

Kotoko struggled in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign, finishing sixth on the standings.

They are keen to make impact in the upcoming campaign and has now stepped up to sign quality players to augment the team.

So far, the Ghanaian giants has secured the services of four players, including two Sudanese internationals.
