Asante Kotoko head coach Kjetil Zachariassen has revealed that the CAF Confederation Cup is the right level for his outfit this season.
The Porcupine Warriors were knocked out the CAF Champions League after losing 3-0 to Tunisian giants Etoile Sportive du Sahel in Montasir on Sunday, hence dropping to the Confederation Cup.
Goals from Mortadha Ben Ouanes and Karim Aribi (brace) helped propelled Etoile du Sahel to qualify to the Champions League group stages on a 3-2 aggregate.
“This [CAF Confederation Cup] is our level at the moment. We are in Confederation Cup, I think that’s the right level for us," Coach Zachariassen told Kotoko Express App.
"We’ve got to have to be realistic. We’ve got to be realistic because we have only worked together for three months”.
The Ghana Premier League side will know their opponent in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off round on October 6, 2019.
