Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko dismantled lower-tier club PAC Academy 6-0 in a friendly ahead of the start of the new Ghana Premier League season.

The Porcupine Warriors arrived in Ghana last week after a two-weeks training tour in Dubai.

As the team round up preparations for the 2021/22 season, the two-time African Champions today engaged PAC Academy in a friendly at the Adako-Jachie training complex.

Kotoko dispatched their opponent 6-0 as they gear up for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

Captain Abdul Ganiyu and Joseph Amoako scored brace for the club.

Samuel Boateng's strike and an own goal was enough for the Kumasi-based club to pick victory.

The 2021/22 season will kick start on Friday, October 29 with Kotoko taking on Dreams FC in matchday 1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
