Ghana U-23 head coach Ibrahim Tanko has called up to Asante Kotoko goalkeepers, Kwame Baah and Danlad Ibrahim, as the Black Meteors start preparations for the U-23 African Cup of Nations.

The Black Meteors start camping in Accra today ahead of the tournament which comes off in Egypt from November 8, 2019, to November 22.

Kotoko received a letter from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday requesting the release of the duo as Ibrahim Tanko assembles his squad.

Kwame Baah showed excellent form when the Black Meteors beat Algeria 1-0 in Setif to qualify for the AFCON with a 2-1 aggregate after a 1-1 first-leg draw in Accra.

Danlad Ibrahim missed that tie as he was away in Morocco with the National U-20 at the All African Games.
