Asante Kotoko have avoided any punishment from the Ghana Football Association after paying a US$ 12, 425 severance package to former coach Kjetil Zachariassen, according to media report.

The Porcupine Warriors were found guilty of contract breaches after the Norwegian tactician dragged the club to the Status Committee of the GFA after he claimed he was unlawfully sacked.

According to Kumasi FM, Kotoko have finally paid the money to the former Ashanti Gold trainer who was sacked only four months into his contract at the club.

Coach Zachariasen failed to get the club into the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup group stages following the team’s elimination at the preliminary stage.
