The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has sent a farewell message to Kwame Bonsu following his transfer to Esperance in the on-going transfer window.

The midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors last season on a free.

Bonsu was one of the standout performers for Asante Kotoko during their 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup campaign and in domestic competitions.

He guided the Reds to the league stage of Confederation Cup for the first time in 11 years as well as playing a key role for the Kumasi based side that won the Tier One Cup ensuring a place in next season's CAF Champions League.

In a farewell message to the player, who is already in Tunisia, Edmund Ackah shared Management’s gratitude to Kwame Bonsu and prayed for success at his new club.

“We are thankful for everything he did during his stay with us. Now that, we are through with all the documentation on his transfer, we believe it is in order to express our appreciation and wish him well”, said Ackah.
