The playing body of Asante Kotoko are owed four months of unpaid salaries.

The Porcupine Warriors ensured a torrid season and finished the campaign at the 4th position with 52 points.

However, according to Kumasi FM, the players are yet to receive their four months' unpaid salaries.

Former head coach of the side, Seydou Zerbo is also owed.

Speaking to FOX FM, the Burkinabe trainer confirmed that Kotoko are yet to settle his arrears. He also revealed that Nana Yaw Amponsah who appointed him has been declining his calls.

Meanwhile, the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management has been dissolved following the expiration of their mandate.

The 12-member board of directors whose mandate has also expired are expected to present their report to Manhyia later today.

A new management and board is expected to be unveiled before the start of the season.

With the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League set to get underway, Asante Kotoko currently are without a substantive head coach.

The playing body however are expected to report to camp to begin pre-season ahead of the new season.
