A management member of Asante Kotoko has revealed why his outfit has not paid the transfer fee of Ibrahim Imoro to his former club, Thunder FC.

The bankroller of the Division two side, Alhaji Nash said in an interview on Tuesday that his outfit will be reporting the Porcupine Warriors to FIFA over the unpaid transfer fee of Ibrahim.

The 20-year-old joined Kotoko on a four-year deal from Thunder FC last year for a fee believed to be Gh¢ 240,000.

“Everything at Kotoko is currently on hold. We are waiting for Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to constitute the new Board of Directors which they will direct the affairs of the team," the management member told OTEC FM.

"We've already explained everything to him so we are surprised to hear him [Alhaji Nash] in the media."

Ibrahim was a key member of the Black Stars "B" squad that finished second at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations.

The highly-rated left-back made 11 appearances and scored one goal for Asante Kotoko before the suspension of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season due to the coronavirus outbreak.
