Asante Kotoko on Wednesday afternoon made light work of Kenpong Football Academy during a friendly match.

The Porcupine Warriors since the start of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season have excelled and currently sit pretty at the top of the league table.

Today, the Reds hosted Kenpong Football Academy in a low-profile friendly match as part of preparations for the upcoming clash against Karela United FC.

In a game played at the Atonsu AstroTurf grounds, Asante Kotoko had too much under their sleeves as the team seamlessness cruised past the opponent with a big win.

On the afternoon, Evans Adomako and Stephen Amankona scored to shoot the Reds into an early lead before additional goals from Dickson Afoakwa, Solomon Sarfo Taylor, and Mbella Etouga powered Asante Kotoko to the huge friendly win.

Today’s win is expected to keep players of Asante Kotoko feeling more confident ahead of the Ghana Premier League matchday five game against Karela United over the weekend.
