Asante Kotoko set to pay over €30,000 for Richard Senanu's surgery in Germany

Asante Kotoko is expected to pay over €30,000 for Richard Senanu's surgery in Germany.

The 24-year-old will leave the Ghana this month to undergo the surgery after three months on the sidelines.

Senanu has been out of action after suffering two ligament tears during his club's CAF Confederation Cup game against Zesco United back in February.

It has been revealed that a German surgeon who has worked on on-loan Chelsea defender Abdul Baba Rahman and Ghanaian Dancehall and Reggae artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebowy.

Also the cost of his surgery and rehabilitation is estimated around 30,000 euros.

"We recommended the doctor who has worked on Baba Rahman and Stonebowy and the management agreed to send Senanu to Germany instead of Dubai. I know they have furnished Kotoko every documentations about the bill and bank transfer details." His manageress Kisa Gbekle told Nhyira FM

"The C.E.O of Asante Kotoko is eager so latest by Monday I know there will be some update and Senanu will be flown out of the country soon."

"I need him and Asante Kotoko also need him more than I do so they are eager. The bill includes six weeks of rehabilitation and is around €30,000 and also the club is eager to bring him back after the surgery"

Senanu has been key contributor for coach Akunnor’s side since joining them from lower-tier side Phar Rangers in 2018
