Asante Kotoko set to reshuffle technical team - Reports

According to Kumasi-based Kessben FM Asante Kotoko is set to reduce his Technical Team members for the upcoming season.

The Porcupine Warriors currently have four first-team coaches, namely head coach Maxwell Konadu, first assistant Abdulai Gazale, second assistant Johnson Smith and Akakpo Patron whose role at the club is not known.

According to reports Coach, Maxwell Konadu was asked to slash his first-team coaches from three to two ahead of the new season, but it is not clear which of them will be affected.

First assistant coach, Abdulai Gazale joined Kotoko upon the express request of Coach Maxwell Konadu when he was rejoining the club at the beginning of the now canceled 2019/20 league season.

Second assistant coach, Johnson Smith was appointed to serve as an assistant to Norwegian tactician Kjetil Zachariassen before he was named an interim coach after Zachariassen’s exit.

Akakpo Patron, on the other hand, was the assistant coach to CK Akonnor and Kjetil Zachariassen before the appointment of Maxwell Konadu.
