Asante Kotoko are on the verge of signing of Dennis Votere Sungbawiere from Wa Suntaa FC in the on-going transfer window.
According to Light FM, the 21-year-old is currently in Kumasi to finalise his proposed move to the club.
Sungbawiere has been one of the standout players for the Wa-based Division One League side for the past seasons.
He kept an impressive 11 clean sheets in 15 games for Wa Suntaa FC during the 2018/19 season.
He helped them in the Wa Suntaa FC qualification to the Ghanaian second-tier league to play in the Zone 1 of the competition.
Following his outstanding performance, he was handed an invitation to the Black Satellites ahead of the 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Asante Kotoko currently have four goalkeepers uncluding Kwame Baah, Felix Annan, Osei Kwame and Danlad Ibrahim.
