Asante Kotoko set to sign top Ugandan striker - Club Communications Director reveal

Kumasi Asante Kotoko is in talks to sign a top Ugandan forward ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 football season, Communications Director of the club, Moses Antwi Benefo has revealed. 

The Porcupine Warriors club is set for a very challenging campaign next season where they are billed to play in the CAF Champions League while competing for glory on the local scene.

In a bid to ensure the team enjoys success, Kotoko has set sight on recruiting top players to help the team. Following the acquisitions of midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh and defender Yusif Mubarik, the club is now set to sign a striker from Uganda.

"We are expecting the arrival of a Ugandan striker for our next season's campaign", the club's communications director Moses Antwi Benefo has told Oyerepa FM.

He added, "We are also expecting the arrival of all the locally-based players to complete their move tomorrow [Friday]".

Just yesterday, the team under the guidance of coach Maxwell Konadu has commenced training.
