He becomes the second signing of the club after Richmond Lamptey completed his move from Inter Allies.
The enterprising defender has been rated as one of the best center-backs in the Division One League after a superlative performance in the just-ended season.
Kotoko see Agyemang as a direct replacement for Abdul Ganiyu who could depart the club after the expiration of his contract.
He featured 26 times in Zone One of the Division One League last season.
