Asante Kotoko skipper Felix Annan set sights on No.1 shirt again

Asante Kotoko skipper Felix Annan knows that he cannot make the same mistake twice after losing the No.1 shirt to Kwame Baah.

The 25-year-old has been on the substitutes bench since match week 5 of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League after wedding his long time girlfriend in the course of the season.

Coach Maxwell Konadu has opted to replace him with Black Meteors goalkeeper Kwame Baah, who has put up impressive performances, keeping six clean sheets in ten games so far.

Annan's only other appearance was in the MTN FA Cup when the Porcupine Warriors lost 2-1 to Asokwa Deportivo.

"For me all my years at Kotoko I have been fighting for position and I have always given my best," he told Kotoko Express App.

"So far as I am at the club, I'm going to fight and give my best each and every minute I step onto that field."

He added, "So for me, it is not a problem at all, it's all about keeping on with my training and all. I will keep on fighting until I am no more at the club."
