Asante Kotoko striker Songné Yacouba has returned to the pitch after weeks of been sidelined by injury.
The 27-year-old has been on the sidelines for almost a month close to a month, having played with pain in his side's Africa Inter Club campaign were he put up incredible performances.
A management member of the Reds has revealed that the club's medical team has treated the player and declared him fit to play matches.
"Yacouba Songne has been finally declared fit by the medical team of Asante Kotoko SC and he is available for selection if he fits into the coach's tactics".
"Management expects him to start training today", Lawyer Sarfo Duku Esq, Director of Communication of Kotoko said.
The former Stade Malien player was in superb form during their Confederation Cup, where he netted just one and assist five times for the Porcupine Warriors.
Songné is expected to be included in Coach C.K Akunnor side over the weekend in the NC Special Competition.
