Asante Kotoko has summoned Emmanuel Gyamfi for questioning after he reportedly held a secret meeting with AshantiGold CEO Dr. Kwaku Frimpong on Monday.
The two were alleged to have met without the knowledge of the Reds which has raised concerns.
Reports indicate AshantiGold are trying to lure the 23-year-old whose contract with Kotoko runs out in few months time, hence, the management of the Ghanaian giants has invited the winger for questioning.
The Porcupine Warriors are said to be preparing a contract extension for the player who has become an integral part of the team since his move from WA All Stars.
Saddick Adams, Eric Donkor, Richard Osei Agyemang and Isaac Quansah all joined Ashanti Gold after they were released by Kotoko.
