Asante Kotoko to open contract talks with Esperance transfer target Mudasiru Salifu

Asante Kotoko set to open contract talks with Espérance Sportive de Tunis transfer target Mudasiru Salifu at end of the season.

The 25-year-old has been one of the standout players in the on-going Ghana Premier League season, propelling the Porcupine Warriors to the top of the league table after 26 games played so far.

Mudasiru has made 22 appearances for Kotoko this campaign and scored two goals.

The Porcupine Warriors are keen on extending the midfielder's contract which runs out at the end of the season.

Mudasiru joined Kotoko on a four-year deal in 2018.

According to reports, he has been linked with a move to several clubs in Africa and Europe including Espérance who have reportedly expressed interest in acquiring the services of the midfielder from Kotoko.

He has previously played for Tunisian club CS Sfaxien and Tanda FC of Ivory Coast.

Mudasiru is worth €125,000 according to transfermarkt.
