Asante Kotoko youngster Clinton Opoku reacts to first Ghana U-20 call up

Asante Kotoko youngster Clinton Opoku has expressed his joy after grabbing call up into the Black Satellites for the first time.

The Black Satellites will soon begin preparations towards the 2022 WAFU Cup of Nations which will be qualifications for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2023.

Opoku has been tipped for greatness considering his qualities. He joined the Porcupine Warriors on a four-year deal but he is yet to break into the starting 11.

The 18-year-old qualities has caught the eyes of the technical handlers of the Ghana U-20 and has therefore been handed a call up.

In a post sighted by Footballghana.com, Clinton Opoku said “I am very much honoured with my first national U-20 call. Glory be to God; we are going to make Ghana proud. We need your prayers”

Opoku will join the national youth team with teammate Augustine Agyapong.
