Ashanti Gold SC fans are appealing to the management of the club to recruit foreign players to augment the team before the start of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Miners have been picked by the country’s football governing body to represent Ghana in the next edition of the CAF Confederations Cup while Asante Kotoko plays in the CAF Champions League.

Speaking to West FM, Deputy Supporters PRO of the club, Gydie Anamon has noted that they want to see the club signing some foreign players before they begin the Africa campaign later this year.

“What the management is doing recently is good we're most grateful to them but as we're planning for Africa campaign, management should bring foreign players into the team”, he said.

Gydie Anamon continued, “We the supporters are ever ready to contribute for such signings. We're happy that Hans Koffie and others have joined the team”.
