Ashanti Gold SC coach Roberto Landi is hopeful of succeeding in the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
The Miners are currently making plans for the competition after they were selected by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following the truncation of the 2019/20 football season.
Ashgold will be looking to progress to the group stages of Caf second-tier competition after they were knocked out by Moroccan giants RS Berkane last season.
Roberto Landi, who arrived in Ghana a few days ago following the opening of the airport, is poised for the competition.
"The Confederation Cup is a big challenge for me, the players and management and we want to do well," Roberto Landi told Sikka Sports.
"Training starts as soon as possible to put the team in shape.
"The team has a good squad to compete in Africa and we are 90%-95% sure we will excel."
