Ashanti Gold SC eye move for Ahmed Adams

Published on: 27 July 2020

AshantiGold SC are eyeing a move for Berekum Chelsea defender Ahmed Adams in the on-going transfer window.

Adams nearly joined the Miners prior to the start of the truncated 2019/20 season, but the deal fell through due to a disagreement over personal terms between both parties.

Ashgold will be representing Ghana at the Caf Confederation Cup next season and have identified the 27-year-old as the final jigsaw in their defence.

According to Kumasi-based Otec FM, negotiations between the Obuasi-based side and Adams have reached an advanced stage and an official announcement will be made soon.

Ahmed Adams has previously played for Asante Kotoko and Al Shoala in Saudi Arabia.
