They first met the DFA’s on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, to present situational reports to members and further deliberated on ways of improving football at the district level, post-COVID-19.

In the same vein, a meeting was organized on Thursday, August 13, 2020 for 56 Division Two Clubs where major issues affecting the clubs were thoroughly discussed. The Executive Council informed members that the Association has taken a decision to absorb affiliation and registration fees for the upcoming season to alleviate some of the hardships on clubs in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic.

A number of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) including nose masks and hand sanitizers were distributed to clubs during both meetings to help the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Executives also announced that the Association has signed a deal with Media 7 Group as the official Television broadcast partner of the Ashanti RFA for the new season.
