Ex-Asante Kotoko right-back Atta Kusi says his target is to win the 2019/20 Ghana Premier and also advance to the Caf Confederation Cup group stage in the upcoming season.
Kusi, 26, joined the Miners on a two-year deal with the Miners after he mutually parted ways with regional-rivals Asante Kotoko in 2017.
“I received a call from the bankroller (Dr Kwaku Frimpong) after AshantiGold had qualified to play in the Confederation Cup after they annexed the Normalisation Committee Tier 2 competition, he told Kumasi-based Okese FM.
"I have a very good relationship with him. He’s like a Father to me. I couldn’t reject his proposal though I wanted to move out of this country.”
“My target is to win the Premier League with Ashanti Gold and reach the group stages of the Africa campaign. I believe that I can achieve my goal,” he added.
