AshantiGold SC coach, Thomas Duah has reiterated he is unperturbed about the match-fixing allegations involving the club.

The Miners have dominated the local media for wrong reasons following their matchday 34 game against Inter Allies.

Ashgold recorded a 7-0 scoreline in their final game of the season at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, with the aid of Allies central defender, Hashmin Musah, who scored two own goals.

Hashmin after the game alleged that he was told that some members and officials of the home team have fixed the game.

Duah after guiding the club to the finals of the MTN FA Cup said the players and technical team are unperturbed by the match-fixing allegations

“We haven’t been affected at all because we know it is not true. It is never true Ashgold fixes matches," he told FMIG.

“The results we’re getting is because of the work we’re putting in during the training sessions. Whatever you’re doing just put your trust in God and you’ll reap the results. Whatever they are saying isn’t true,” – Duah added.

The alleged match-fixing scandal has been taken up by the Ghana Football Association and investigations have already begun with some players of both teams appearing before the GFA Investigations Committee.
