Ashanti Gold SC on Thursday morning posted a 4-1 win over Ebony FC in a friendly encounter staged at the Atonsu astroturf.
The Obuasi-based club has been inconsistent since the start of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League.
However, the team is keen on doing well and hence has been training very hard to climb high on the league table.
As part of preparations for the next game in the Ghana Premier League, Ashanti Gold SC today engaged lower-tier outfit Ebony FC.
At the end of a very good exercise, the Miners cruised to a big 4-1 win courtesy of goals from Isaac Opoku Agyemang, Yaw Annor, Abdul Salam, and Dauda Seidu.
The team will train on Friday before travelling to Sogakope over the weekend to face WAFA SC in the Ghana Premier League.
The team will aim to secure victory to amass the three points from matchday seven.
