Ashanti Gold midfielder Hans Kwofie has bemoaned his side's recent poor form in the Ghana League but remains optimistic things will change soon.

The Miners have endured a difficult start to the season as they currently lie bottom of the league with just three wins from 13 match days.

They managed a 1-1 draw with Medeama SC in their last game and Hans Kwofie who is a key member of the team believes they will start winning games.

"It is very unfortunate things are not going well for us, we are unable to win games and that is worrying but I am very confident things will get better in the second round,” he told Nhyira FM.

“I know things are going to get better, we will do everything possible to win our matches in the second round and hopefully finish in a good position.”
