Ghana Premier League giants Obuasi Ashanti Gold has set sights on signing 3 players from third-tier side Tema City Football Club including Asante Kotoko target Kwesi Ankumah.
The Miners have had a good start to the season but a bit of inconsistency prior to the suspension of the league has denied the side the opportunity to stay top of the standings.
In a bid to boost their squad before the league resumes, Ashanti Gold has planned to hold talks with Tema City Football Club in the next couple of days for 3 of their players.
The players included highly-rated midfielder Kwesi Ankumah, as well as Salim Uzair Baafada and Philip Folivi.
Management of Ashgold believes the acquisition of these players will be a good investment for their quest to lift the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season and in the future.
For striker Kwesi Ankumah, his signature is expected to be fought over by Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold.
