Head coach of National Women's League side Ashtown Ladies visited their arch-rivals at the Wesley College park in their match day one of the Normalization Committee special competition fixture which ended in stalement after 90 minutes of football action.

Ashtown Ladies played to the strength of arch-rivals to ensure they book their first away draw.

Alex Camara who was in-charge of the side, Ashtown Ladies FC, says the team's performance to earn one point away as the competition keep unfolding is a good step and a well deserved one.

"Actually I am very happy to get a draw at the backyard of Fabulous Ladies because ahead of this opener our team reporting style to training hasn't being the best".

"Our preparation wasn't very effective just at the late hour of this game that we got a little bit on track so earning a point here in our first game will boast us going forward in our subsequent matches especially on Wednesday", he told footballghana.comafter the 'Ashanti derby' clash.

"So I will say it was a well deserved point for me and the team as we move to our next game".

Ashtown Ladies FC in their second group A fixture will play Supreme Ladies on Wednesday at the Police Depo at 15:30 GMT
