Ati Zigi put in a world-class performance against Servette FC - St Gallen coach Peter Zeidler

Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zgi has been praised by his coach after his outstanding performance for St Gallen in match week 19.

Appiah helped his club St Gallen beat Servette FC 3-0 on Saturday 4th February at the Kybunpark. He played full throttle in the encounter as a goalkeeper.

"Fortunately we still have a man in the orange jersey between the posts," Peter Zeidler said after the game. 

"Of course we're talking about Lawrence Ati Zigi, who once again put in a world-class performance on the pitch and proved that he's one of the best goalies in the league," 

St Gallen scored first in the 8th minute, Leon Dajaku shot was not properly saved by Servette goalie Frick which allowed Lukas Görtler to pounce and hit the ball into the net.

A penalty was awarded against the host in the 33rd minute. Black Stars goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi saved the kick to keep the score at 1-0.

In the 39th minute, St Gallen got a penalty and Jérémy Guillemenot extended the lead to 2-0.

Ati-Zigi in the 59th minute deflected a header from Vouilloz onto the crossbar.

Willem Geubbels made it 3-0 to seal the win for St Gallen. Ati Zigi made six saves during the encounter against Servette.
