Atlético Madrid Star Antoine Griezmann Confirms His Upcoming Role in Lego Batman Movie

Atlético Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has confirmed that he will star in the new Lego Batman movie, voice-acting in the role of Supermanin the French version of the movie.


The 25-year-old footballer turned voice-actor confirmed his role in the movieon Facebook, writing: "Happy to lend my voice to Superman in The Lego Batman Movie," to his 6.6m followers.

And Griezmann isn't the only Frenchman appearing in the movie, as Paris saint Germain midfielderBlaise Matuidi also looks set to make an appearance, voicingThe Flash.


The movie is set to come out on February 8th, four days before Atletico welcome the visit of Celta Vigo to the Vicente Calderon and 13 days before Simeone's side take onBayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

The red and whites have struggled to keep up with the pace in La Liga this season, occupying 4th at the half-way stage, eight points behind local rivals and league-leaders Real Madrid, who still have a game in hand having played in the FIFA World Club Championship in December.
