Christian Atsu outfit set to replay Blackburn Rovers in the English FA Cup, following a draw in their game on Saturday.
The 26-year-old, Atsu side where held to a 1-1 draw after coming from behind to find an equaliser, haven seen Bradley Dack open the score for the championship side in the 56th minute.
The Ghanaian star, came from the bench to inspire his mates to a draw despite having two consecutive first XI berths for The Magpies.The winger was introduced into the game with 15 minutes to end proceedings at the St. James' Park where it all ended 1-1.
With the draw, the two teams are set for a replay to decide who goes through to the fourth round.
Matt Ritchie 84' minute spot kick secured parity for the homers.Keeping their fate of qualifying should the match be replayed.
Atsu, becoming in the later part of the game, mark his 16th appearance for the Magpies. Recording eight as a substitute in all competitions this season.
The winger joined Newcastle on a permanent contract from Chelsea in 2017 following an initial loan deal.
